Event Update 1/9/2007 Hello everyone, Just a quick update to let you know that there has been a significant change in the World Cup schedule this week due to the unusual warm weather…everywhere! The Lake Placid World Cup next week has been canceled for aerials (moguls is still possible, but I hear it is not looking good). So, there will be two events here in Deer Valley this week. I still do not know whether I will be jumping or not, but the events will be Thursday evening and Friday, afternoon semi-finals and evening finals. They should be very fun, so if you are in the area, come watch! Also, World Championships has been postponed until March 11th! Great news for me, as it will give me a chance to heal up and train before the event. I am so excited. The sad news is that anyone planning on coming to watch will have to either rebook, or try again next year. Sad. I have to run to one more doctor’s appointment today and will hopefully have a decision by tomorrow as to whether I will be in the sky this weekend, or in the finish area spectating. With Worlds pushed back, I am ok with either, but would LOVE to be able to jump in Deer Valley, our best tour stop every year. Have a wonderful day Read More |

No News is Good News? 1/7/2007 No News is Good News? Not sure if that rings true in this situation or not, but honestly I have not had too much to say, not any definite answers anyways. It’s now been three and a half weeks since I have jumped, and I am certainly getting antsy to get going again, especially since my teammates are all in Mont Gabriel at the first stop on the North American tour. A new update 12/26/2006 Hello again everyone. I hope you are all still enjoying your holiday season! I certainly have had a wonderful week with my dad, Jake and his parents David and Diane, Cori, Mike and Maddox, and the rest of the stragglers who didn’t make it home for Christmas. I once again missed my family, but was passed around on the phone numerous times to say hello and love you. By this time many of you have read between the lines of my last email and have asked what on earth is going on. Read on for the update... Read More |

Happy Sunday! 12/17/2006 Hello everyone, and happy Sunday. I love Sundays especially since they have become consistently a day off for us during training camps. Also, the weather has finally changed and our world is covered by a beautiful blanket of white fluffy Utah snow. Today however rather than going out to enjoy it, I’ll be enjoying a day off in the house baking Christmas cookies, watching movies, decorating the tree with dad, and hanging out with Cori and Mike’s baby Maddox while Mike is in Finland and Cori gets some Christmas momma time. Jumping in PC 12/7/2006 I have to start out by saying how nice it is to be home in Park City and sleeping in my own bed. I love it. My first day of jumping at home was so much fun. The doubles are just getting ready, so I started out on the single and had a nice night of playing with the young girls that I used to coach. They are jumping great and are so much fun to be around. Back to my Home Sweet Home 12/4/2006 Our Apex Mountain camp was such a success despite the cold and snowy weather. Last time I wrote I was on my way out for our last day of training, and somehow the sun decided to shine down on us for just enough time to finish on a high note. Read on for more! Read More |
