Cypress Mountain World Cup

CYPRESS MOUNTAIN, BC (Feb. 6) - Canada's Steve Omischl and defending Olympic champ Evelyne Leu of Switzerland took home World Cup wins on the 2010 Olympic venue in Cypress Mountain outside Vancouver Friday night. Jeret "Speedy" Peterson (Boise, ID) led the USA in sixth. Emily Cook (Belmont, MA) stood fifth after the first jump with a strong full-double full, two flips with one twist on first and two on the second. She came back with a double full-full on her second jump but lost a ski on the landing, dropping to eighth overall. Lacy Schnoor (Draper, UT) also made finals, landed a strong first jump, but dropped on her second. Don't forget to watch Versus' coverage of Deer Valley World cup at 4:00 eastern time Sunday, February 8th!

Back on the Podium!

PARK CITY, UT (Jan. 30) (Tom Kelly) - The U.S. Ski Team's Ryan St. Onge (Winter Park, CO) put it all on the line Friday to take the Nature Valley Freestyle Challenge for his sixth career World Cup victory at the Visa Freestyle International aerials competition at Deer Valley Resort in Park City. St. Onge was joined on the podium by Emily Cook (Belmont, MA) who took third in the women's aerials event. The win marked St. Onge's third victory at Deer Valley.

Deer Valley World Cup

In Utah this weekend? Come to Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley to watch my teammates and I compete in the Freestyle World Cup! The aerial competition will take place Friday, January 30th. Thursday night, January 29th, will include a FREE concert from Michael Franti and Spearhead on Main Street near the Town Lift Plaza followed by fireworks. All events are free to the public. The competitions will air on NBC Sunday, February 8th at 3 p.m. EST and on Versus Sunday, February 8th and 15th at 4 p.m. EST. Click here to continue to the full schedule...
