Back in Lake Placid
Hello again! Sometimes life comes full circle, and often for me this involves the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, New York where I am currently training. The OTC holds so many memories for me, but this time around the highlights have been eating, sleeping and training, which is about all I have been doing with my time for the past two weeks. It may sound boring, but it has been amazing and I have learned so much. This is the perfect place to focus solely on the daily grind, making everything as simple as possible, and leaving time and energy for the important things in an athlete’s life, like flipping on a trampoline and lifting weights in the gym.
